Like many road racers, Jake's racing career started in flat track. After retiring from flat track, Jake raced speedway for 2 years before making the jump to road racing in 1997 running a Harley-Davidson 883 in the SuperTwins class. Running as a privateer in 1998 brought a podium in the final race and 10th in the championship. 10+ years later, Jake is a multi-time race winner in Supersport, Formula Xtreme and Superbike with a Daytona 200 win and a Formula Xtreme championship to show for his hard work.
Both team and rider and are looking forward to an exciting season and expect to challenge for the AMA American Superbike Championship in 2010.
