After finishing a very strong 2nd place in the 2009 Canadian Superbike and 600 Sport Bike classes, Brett made the decision to compete in the 2010 AMA Superbike Championship.  A solid result at Daytona riding his own equipment was followed by another solid result at Fontana riding for Celtic Racing.

Good results in the first two rounds of the championship, plus his experience racing for Suzuki Canada, made Brett the logical choice to substitute for the injured Aaron Yates on the Michael Jordan Motorsports #23 Jordan Brand Suzuki GSX-R1000.
